Chairman’s Message

We are competing in a dynamic marketplace, and we know that our growth will depend on an increasingly diverse and global workforce.

Durrat Oil Drilling and Services Limited was founded by the late Mr. Al Bathari Al-Maashani. The company, led by me (his son) and the current owner and majority shareholder, continues his legacy by demonstrating a commitment to best practices in corporate governance and social responsibility. This commitment seeks to honor his vision and maintain the support of shareholders and the broader community.

Our aim is that in addition to serving our client and community at large, we aspire to be a catalyst for In-Country Value (ICV) initiatives, always harvesting good ideas to ensure that a sound and sustainable approach towards local market engagement is maintained.

Improving safety performance continues to be our priority. Our HSE goal is to ensure all our employees return home safely every day. We have taken steps to strengthen our overarching safety management framework, improve our reporting systems and enhance our safety culture.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our shareholders and clients for their support and to our management and staff for their dedication and relentless effort to achieve the Company’s goals. We would also like to extend our thanks to Petroleum Development Oman and the other Oil & Gas companies for their continued support and guidance.
